Extremely collectible and important in their era, Chatelaines were attached at the hip and included necessities needed for daily life, such as nail files, perfume bottles, scissors, and more. Crisford & Norris silver is highly sought-after. Their unique and novel designs, such as pin cushions, rattles, boxes, compacts, napkin rings, and trophies, were all manufactured by this Birmingham-based silversmith, who operated from 1896 to 1976 from their Vyse Street workshop.
