We are loving this color combo! A gorgeous turquoise surrounded by rose-cut diamonds, which catch the eye.
"Persian" turquoise has a pure blue color with no matrix, and was a popular stone for jewelry throughout the Victorian era and into the first third of the 20th Century. Antique Persian turquoise is rare due to a combination of factors, including its high demand for centuries by the Iranian people, the limited and exhausted nature of its specific mines in Iran (particularly around Nishapur), and the difficult, labor-intensive process of mining it by hand. Its esteemed quality, with a unique, prized color and matrix patterns, further contributes to its scarcity and value, making it a precious commodity difficult to export.
That blue is just otherworldly, and paired with the low-profile, creamiest rose gold setting (not as “pink” as its modern counterpart) with glittering diamonds, it's just—dare I say—perfect? Completely handmade and one of a kind.
